Title:
PRODUCTION OF IONIZATION CHAMBER TYPE X-RAY DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6178042
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the arrangement interval precision of electrode plates by inserting the electrode plates in grooves on a pair of separated insulators then inserting a half-hardened adhesive agent between the electrodes in contact with the insulators and hardening it.

CONSTITUTION: A signal electrode plate 3 is arranged between high-voltage electrode plates 2 to form an element, and multiple elements are fixed in grooves on insulators 1 made of glass or the like to form a multi-element ionization chamber type X-ray detector. In this case, the grooves are set to the minimum required width to insert the electrode plates 2, 3 and are precisely faced to each other; and after the insertion a half-hardened bar-like adhesive agent 5 having no viscosity is inserted between the electrode plates 2, 3 in contact with the insulator 1, is heated, melted, and hardened to fix the electrode plates; next they are fixed likewise on the other side. Accordingly, the interval precision of the electrode plates is improved, an artifact is prevented from occurring, and a highly precise detector can be obtained.
