PURPOSE: To obtain a laminate by mixing specific condensation compsns. to apply them to a base material to form a porous film excellent in scratch resis tance, having high reflection preventing effect and not changed with the elapse of time.
CONSTITUTION: A condensation compsn. (A) obtained by mixing 1mol of tetraalkoxysilane represented by formula Si (OR)4 (wherein R is a 1-5C alkyl group), 3-8mol of a basic aq. soln. with pH 10.0-12.0 and 10-30mol of an org. solvent and a condensation compsn. (B) obtained by mixing 1mol of alkoxysilane represented by formula (R2)nSi(OR')4-n (wherein R1 and R4 are a 1-5C alkyl group and n is an integer of 0-3) are mixed in a wt. ratio (A)/(B) of 0.4-2.4 to obtain an inorg. compsn. which is, in turn, applied to a base material. The base material coated with the inorg. compsn. is placed under environment with relative humidity of 70% or more.
