Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an excellent strength with a light weight by charging a molded product formed of a specified surface skin material into a molding die, and foaming plastics in the inner space of the molded product to form a core material of the foamed material, and connecting the core material to the surface skin material. CONSTITUTION: Each of an upper outer skin 1 and a lower outer skin 3 is formed by impregnating a nonwoven fabric formed of plastic long fibers with a resin, and heating and molding the resulting fabric into a prescribed form by a molding die. A core material 2 may be formed of foamed material of polystyrene or polypropylene, ABS foamed material, or foamed material of polyethylene-polystyrene copolymer. The core material 2 is charged in the space formed by the upper outer skin 1 and the lower outer skin 2. This is charged into a space formed by an upper molding die 4 and a lower molding die 5, and heated to a prescribed temperature, whereby the core material 2 is foamed again to perfectly fill the space left in the internal space of the outer skins 1, 2 to form a core material 20 in which the internal space of the outer skins 1, 3 is perfectly filled up.
