Abstract:
To produce a lightweight cold-cured polyurethane that has characteristics more excellent than, or equivalent to, hot-cured polyurethane, and is used for sheet backs for automobiles, etc., without use of flame retardants from reaction materials composed of liquid A containing polyols, etc., and liquid B containing isocyanates, etc.
This production of cold-cured polyurethane comprises injecting by one shot the reaction materials into a metalliedie, i.e., liquid A composed of (i) 100 pts.wt. of polyols, (ii) 4.5 pts.wt. of water, (iii) 1.5-3.6 pts.wt. of such additives as amine catalysts and silicone foam-stabilizers, liquid A having preferably a polymer content of 14-25wt.%, and liquid B composed of 45-60 pts.wt. of isocyanates.
