To lessen the occurrence of defective articles by unequal printing in screen printing by providing substrate apertures with projecting parts for eliminating the difference in level between the substrate and a printing stage made in the substrate apertures by a member of the thickness nearly the same as the thickness of the substrate.
The substrate apertures 2 are provided with the projecting parts 7 capable of eliminating the difference in level between the substrate 4 and the printing stage 6 made in the substrate apertures 2 in the stage by screen printing by the member of the thickness nearly the same as the thickness of the substrate 4 in a screen printing stage. Any materials, such as polymer films, tacky adhesive tapes, metallic pieces, are usable as the member to be disposed on the printing stage 6 insofar as the materials have nearly the same thickness as the thickness of the substrate 4 and have the thicknesses of the differences within a range of, for example, ±20%. The shape of the projecting parts suffices if such shape is capable of eliminating the difference in level between the substrate 4 and the printing stage 6 and at the time of setting the substrate 4, the shape slightly smaller than the size of the precut apertures 2 is more preferable so as to prevent the overlap of the substrate 4 and the projecting parts 7.
