PURPOSE: To obtain a long loopy fabric with excellent productivity by using soluble yarns in either of upper and lower ground weaves, simultaneously weaving the yarns so as to connect a space between the upper and lower ground weaves with a loopy material, then dissolving the aforementioned soluble yarns and removing either of the upper and lower ground weaves.

CONSTITUTION: Soluble yarns such as water-soluble yarns are used in weft or warp yarns constituting either of upper and lower ground weaves and both upper and lower ground weaves are nearly simultaneously woven so as to connect a space between both the ground weaves with a loopy material. The aforementioned soluble yarns are then dissolved and treated to remove either of the upper and lower ground weaves.
