Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject low-hardness molded product capable of providing automotive back cushions withstanding use for a long period without any sense of fatigue even in driving for a long period due to excellent mechanical properties by using a polyol composition of a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:The objective molded product, obtained by initially adding and mixing a polyisocyanate (preferably toluene diisocyanate, etc.) with a polyol composition composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. polyether polyol, (B) 3-8 pts.wt. water, (C) 0.2-3 pts.wt. silicone oil, (D) 0.02-2 pts.wt. urethanating catalyst and (E) 0.2-10 pts.wt. 1-19C monohydric alcohol (preferably octanol, etc.) so as to provide 0.8-1.1 equiv. ratio of NCO groups to hydroxyl groups, then injecting the resultant mixture in an amount of 25-40kg based on 1m<3> metallic mold volume into the metallic mold, expanding and curing the mixture and having 5-10kg/314cm<2> hardness.
