Title:
PRODUCTION OF MATERIAL FOR VAPOR DEPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3018798
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily form the wire of a Co-Ni alloy which is a hardly workable material to be used as a material for vapor deposition in production of VTR tapes, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A Co alloy contg. 10 to 30wt.% Ni is heated to Tu or above and, thereafter, this alloy is drawn to a fine wire at a temp. above Td and below Tu+200°C in a cooling process when the transformation temp. from an hpc structure to an fcc structure in a heating up process is designated as Tu(°C) and the transformation temp. from the fcc structure to the hcp structure in a cooling process is designated a Td(°C). As a result, the Co-Ni alloy material which is fcc-rich, has excellent ductility and can be easily cut and drawn is obtd. and, therefore, the production of the Co-Ni alloy wire is facilitated.
