Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a meat product package which is formed by putting meat into a specific soft tube and hermetically sealing the tube and of which the outside surface of the meat product comes into tight contact with the inside layer of the tube at the time of cooking the meat on a site by an aq. medium. CONSTITUTION: This product includes enclosing multilayered films having the inner layer and the meat product which has a relation of the outside surface in tight contact with the inside layer and is subjected to on-site cooking by the aq. medium. The multilayered films include at least three layers having a barrier layer as a core. The inner layer on one side of the barrier layer contains ethylene vinyl acetate and has an outer layer on the side opposite to the inner layer. The ethylene vinyl acetate has 3 to 18wt.% vinyl acetate and at least 4g/1000ft<2> starch particles which are smaller in main size than 100 microns and are dispersed substantially uniformly in the direction crossing the inside surface of the inner layer and are integrated therewith. The inner layer of the starch particle-contg. ethylene vinyl acetate is irradiated with at least 2MR.
