Abstract:
To provide a method of efficiently producing an ammonium persulfate while suppressing deterioration of current efficiency.SOLUTION: A method includes producing an ammonium persulfate on the anode side by electrolysis in a state that a polarizing agent exists in the anode side in an electrolytic tank, in which an ammonium sulfate solution is supplied in the anode side and at least one solution selected from an ammonium sulfate solution, an ammonium hydroxide solution, and a sulfuric acid aqueous solution is supplied in the cathode side. The production method of the ammonium persulfate is performed so that the concentration of the polarizing agent in an anode-side electrolyte is between 0.003 weight% and 0.020 weight%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
