Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce coke easily extrudable from a coke oven chamber of a coke oven, having high-order productivity by maintaining a coal charge weight into the coke oven chamber in the high order state, and also having high strength and small quality dispersion.SOLUTION: A raw coal comprising molded coal having a grain size exceeding 15 mm and powdery coal having a grain size of 15 mm or less is charged into a coke oven chamber of a coke oven, and carbonized to produce coke. The ratio of the molded coal in the raw coal is 70-95%. The ratio of the powdery coal in the raw coal is 5-30%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
