Abstract:
To provide a porous sintered compact which has pore size distribution or pore shape easily controllable in a wide control range and can avoid the decrease in strength; and a production method for a porous sintered compact needing no special exhaust gas treatment apparatus.
The production method for a porous sintered compact comprises mixing microorganisms into a ceramic-made base material and sintering the material. The porous sintered compact is produced by this method.
