Abstract:
To provide a production method wherein a vinyl polymer having terminal hydroxy groups can be easily, practically and efficiently produced.
The vinyl monomer is polymerized in an initiator system composed of hydrogen peroxide and a compound represented by formula (1) and the hydroxy group is introduced to the polymer terminal.
