Abstract:
To provide a production method for a zinc-electroplated steel sheet having a high degree of whiteness, which suppresses decrease in electrical current efficiency.
A zinc-electroplating process is carried out in a zinc-electroplating bath containing <0.01 mass ppm in total of one or more organic compounds having a 2-benzothiazolyl-thio group. Then, a zinc-electroplating process is carried out in a zinc-electroplating bath containing 0.01-3 mass ppm in total of one or more organic compounds having a 2-benzothiazolyl-thio group, so that the amount of deposited zinc constitutes 1-50% of the entire plating layer.
