PURPOSE: Moldings of vinyl chloride resin containing urethane elastomer are treated with low-temprature plasma under special conditions, thus producing titl moldings being freed from the migration of additives as plasticizer and having high mechanical strength and hydrophilic property.
CONSTITUTION: A vinyl chloride resin composition resulting from blending 100 parts by wt of vinyl choloride resin, 5 W 120 parts of urethane elastomer, plasticizer, stabilizer, lubricant, etc., is molded. The moldings are set in the plasma generator and low temperature plasma is generated by passing a gas free from plasma polymerization, such as He, Ar, Co, etc., under 10-3 W 10, preferably 0.01 W 1 torr and applying electric power of 13,56 MHz and 10 W 500W between electrodes and irradiated on the surface of the moldings for several sec W min of tens.
