PURPOSE: To obtain the subject substance in good catalytic activity by supplying ammonia, ethylenediamine, monoethanolamine and phosphorus-containing substance on a phosphoric acid-containing catalyst bed and reacting ammonia, ethylenediamine and monoethanolamine.
CONSTITUTION: Ammonia, ethylenediamine, monoethanolamine and phosphoruscontaining substance (e.g. phosphoric acid, pyrophosphoric acid or triethyl phosphate) are supplied onto a catalyst bed containing phosphoric acid or condensate of said acid and ammonia, ethylenediamine and monoethanolamine are reacted at 150-400°C, especially 200-350°C under 1-1000kg/cm2 reaction pressure to afford the aimed compound. Besides, molar ratio of ammonia and monoethanolamine is preferably 6-50 and molar ratio of ethylenediamine and monoethanolamine is preferably 0.01-10.
