Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing an embossed hologram having a high aspect ratio.
CONSTITUTION: This method for producing an optical image element having a relief hologram consists of a stage for supplying a dried photosetting film on the surface of a dimensionally stable and optically transparent substrate, a stage for supplying a stamper including the reverse-relief image of a hologram having at least 3:1 aspect ratio under pressure to emboss the relief holographic image on the exposed surface of a photosetting film, a stage for passing a chemical radiation through the photosetting film and setting the film while in contact with the stamper and a stage for separating the stamper from the embossed and photoset film.
