Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an attachment face that makes excellent attachment pos sible by an economical production method.
CONSTITUTION: The attachment face 3 in a metallic joint transplant forms an angle of (0<'<90 degrees) in the inserting and attaching direction, and has wire cupular shoulder portions 14. The cupular shoulder portions 14 are opened in the inserting and attaching direction for attachment. In a first process, recesses 6 and shoulders 8 are formed on the attachment faces 3 of a work at a right angle to the inserting and attaching direction by machine work, casting or compression. The shoulder 8 has a cross section of an acute angle, and has a height of 0.3 to 2 mm and an interval 31 corresponding to almost two times the height. In a second process, throughs 15 penetrating through the shoulders 8 are formed by a pressing tool 13. The pressing tool 13 has an opposed surface of the attachment faces 3, and the counter-face has a projecting rib vertical to the counter-face and parallel in the inserting and attaching direction together with its central plane. The edges 17 of the shoulders 14 are deformed, and a wine cupular shapes 18 opening in the inserting and installing direction are formed for support.
