Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily produce a hollow panel product of high quality by relatively simple and inexpensive equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A molten resin P is poured into a female mold 6 and a male mold 5 is allowed to fall to be fitted in the female mold 6 and both molds are closed to spread the resin P in a cavity 11 under pressure. After a predetermined time is elapsed, the male mold 5 is raised up to the predetermined thickness of a molded product while compressed gas is injected into the resin P from the injection port formed to the male mold 5 and the resin P is cooled and solidified while the internal pressure due to the compressed gas is held.
