Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a phenol resin suitable as an electronic material required for higher sophistication by using a production unit made from a specific metallic material to reduce the metallic impurities in the final phenol resin.
CONSTITUTION: This phenolic resin is obtained by using a production unit using, as reaction equipment material, a metallic material selected from tantalum, hafnium, zirconium, niobium and titanium and/or alloy material thereof. As for the reaction equipment, it is recommended that e.g. a 3L-reaction flask made from metallic tantalum be used.
