Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily and effectively produce a charge generating layer contg. charge generating pigments and a high mol.wt. polycarbonate binder and to provide a laminated photoconductive image forming member having excellent mechanical characteristics and photosensitivity.

CONSTITUTION: A supporting substrate is coated with a dispersion of the charge generating pigments, a cyclic oligomer mixture and catalyst and is heated to obtain the charge generating material dispersed in the high mol.wt. polycarbonate resin binder. The charge generating layer is coated with a charge transfer layer.
