Abstract:
PURPOSE: To elevate the setting temp. of a coating liq. contg. gelatin, to form a thin film made of a small amt. of gelatin with the coating liq. having satisfactory physical properties without extremely increasing the viscosity of the coating liq. and to obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material ensuring satisfactory adhesive property between different hydrophilic binder layers.
CONSTITUTION: A base is coated with a coating liq. contg. natural high- molecular polysaccharides derived from red algae, to produce the objective photographic material. The coating liq. contg. the natural high-molecular polysaccharides contains 10mmol/l or more cations selected from among K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Zn2+, Co3+ and Ni2+.
