Title:
PRODUCTION OF PHOTOSENSITIVE PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06317896
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten the time in a drying process and to obtain a photosensitive planographic printing plate with high productivity without requiring slip sheet by including a specified process with irradiation of far IT rays in the drying process.

CONSTITUTION: This production method for a photosensitive planographic printing plate includes a coating process to apply a photosensitive compsn. on a supporting body and a drying process. The drying process includes a process to heat the plate surface to 50-130°C by irradiation with far IR rays. As for far IR rays, it is necessary that the light contains a component of about ≥20μm wavelength, and preferably, containing a small short wavelength component of ≤1μm, and more preferably, UV or visible region (≤0.7μm) is not included. When light including a component of UV and visible ray wavelength is used, a component of shorter wavelength than ≤0.7μm is removed with an optical filter or the like. The process to emit far IR rays is not specified as far as this process is performed after a photosensitive compsn. is applied, and it may be combined in the course of drying.
