Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a pigment having a clear tint close to cyan color by shortened grinding, by grinding crude phthalocyanine in an aq. medium contg. two specified kinds of dispersant in combination.
CONSTITUTION: Crude phthalocyanine is ground in an aq. medium contg. a first dispersant composed of a phthalocyanine derivative such as N,N-dialkyl-aminomethyl copper phthalocyanine and a second dispersant having a polyester chain such as a product obtd. by reacting an amine such as 3-dimethylaminopropylamine with a carboxyl group-contg. polyester derived from a hydroxycarboxylic acid such as ricinoleic acid. A pigment having a clear tint close to true cyan color can be obtd. by grinding in a short time.
