Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject complex useful as a medical drug having an antitumor activity by a ready method in high yield by reacting a specific compound with uridine, etc., in the presence of a silver salt and an oxidizing agent.
CONSTITUTION: A compound expressed by formula I [X is Cl or I; Y is NH3, CnH2n+1NH2 (n=1-12), NH2-CmH2mNH2 ((m) is 2-10) or expressed by formula II] is reacted with uridine, thymidine, uracil, thymine, 2'-deoxyuridine, uridine-5'- monophosphate, 5-fluorouracil or 1,2-diaminocyclohexane in the presence of a silver salt and an oxidizing agent to afford the aimed complex. Besides, number of platinum atoms in the molecule is preferably 6-15.
