Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for producing a plush sheet capable of forming long raised fibers in high density, suppressing the settling of raised fibers and giving dress cloth with elegant cashmere-tone having softness and light weight and, nevertheless, voluminous feeling.
CONSTITUTION: A short fiber web having a single fiber fineness of ≤5 de is laminated on a non-cut pile face of woven or knit fabric produced by using a hot-water soluble fiber having a single fiber fineness of ≤10 de as the cut pile. The staple fiber web is subjected to interlacing treatment from the staple fiber web surface toward the raising direction of the cut pile and the cut pile of the obtained nonwoven fabric is dissolved and removed to produce the plush sheet.
