Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and inexpensively produce a pseudo-bamboo sheath having knot parts by molding a synthetic resin film into an endless pipe core material connected in a refractive manner to form a pseudo-bamboo and cutting open only the pseudo-bamboo like film on the surface of the pseudo-bamboo sent out of a die port from the pipe core material.
SOLUTION: A pipe core material 2 is formed by obliquely cutting respective one ends of metal pipes 2a, 2a... so as to form notches 2b and connecting the metal pipes in an endless state so as to refract them at a definit angle. The endless pipe core material 2 is coated with a synthetic resin and knot parts are protruded to form a pseudo-bamboo 4. In this state, a cutter 6 is allowed to fall under constant pressure from above to be brought into contact with the pseudo-bamboo 4 sent out of a die 3. By this constitution, only the surface pseudo-bamboo like film 4a is axially cut open. The cut open pseudo-bamboo like film 4a is separated from the pipe core material 2 under its own weight to fall and cooled and cured to complete a flat pseudo-bamboo sheath.
