Abstract:
To provide a method for producing resin pellets for imparting excellent moldability by using a lactone resin having biodegradability, moldability and mechanical characteristics in a good balance.
This method for producing resin pellets comprises kneading and extruding a resin composition obtained by adding resin additives to a lactone-containing resin comprising polylactone and one or more other biodegradable resins, and subsequently cutting the obtained strand. Therein, the polycaprolactone as component constituting the lactone-containing resin, is subjected to a radiation irradiation treatment so as to give a gel fraction of ≤10%.
