Title:
PRODUCTION OF SEAMLESS TUBULAR WOVEN FABRIC HAVING EXTREMELY LARGE DIAMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0586536
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To weave a tubular woven fabric having large diameter using a loom having a limited width by arranging warps over the width of the loom in a state divided into plural sets, inserting a weft in meandering manner into each set of the warps and repeating the above operation.

CONSTITUTION: Warps H supported by a heald are longitudinally divided over the lateral direction of the loom into the 1st set warps H1, the 2nd set warps H2... the n-th set warps Hn containing nearly equal number of warps. A weft L is inserted by opening only the 1st set warp H1. When the weft-insertion is finished to return the weft L, the 1st set warps H1 are closed and the 2nd set warps H2 are opened to insert the weft L. The above procedures are successively repeated until the weft-insertion to the n-th set warps Hn is finished, when the weft-insertion motion is returned to the 1st set warps H1 to continue the meandering weft-insertion motion. A tubular woven fabric having large diameter and woven by the above process is composed of unit cloths having a width nearly equal to the width of the loom and connected with each other in folded state.
