Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method for producing separated single filament yarn, capable of freely giving a stable constant tension to the filaments without causing the change in the physical properties of drawn multifilament yarn and the breakage of the filaments.
CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the separated signal filament yarn is characterized by bringing a driving roll 3 disposed in parallel to a bobbin shaft into contact with the surface of a multifilament yarn package 1, rotating the package 1, simultaneously unwinding the multifilament yarn, separating the unwound multifilament yarn into single filament yarn, and subsequently winding up the separated single filament yarn on winding devices 4 each using a ring and a traveler.
