Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent decrease in separating property due to the property of a carrier itself or to prevent abnormal adsorption of the objective for separation by introducing a high polymer to the surface of the carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A compd.(B) having cyclic ether groups and polymerizable unsatd. double bonds is added to a carrier (A) having functional groups (e.g. cyclic ether groups) which can be bonded with cyclic ether groups, and then polymerizable vinyl monomers (C) are copolymerized to the polymerizable unsatd. double bonds to introduce a high polymer to the surface of the carrier (A). Namely, by adding the compd.(B) to the carrier (A), the compd.(B) having several cyclic ether groups and polymerizable double bonds is polymerized by ring-opening polymn. to one cyclic ether group on the surface of the carrier (A). Then, by polymerizing the polymerizable unsatd. double bonds of the compd. (B) with the polymerizable vinyl monomers (C), the high polymer introduced to the surface of the carrier (A) has a mesh-like structure.
