Abstract:
PURPOSE: To industrially obtain the subject highly purified compound useful for properties modification of synthetic resins in high yield by reacting a siloxane compound having phthalimide with hydrazine monohydrate.
CONSTITUTION: A compound expressed by formula I (R is alkyl, acryl or perfluoroalkyl; (n) is 0-1000) is allowed to react with hydrazine monohydrate preferably in an organic solvent such as methanol or acetone, preferably at 0-70°C for 0.5-24hr under normal pressure to afford the objective compound expressed by formula II.
