To provide a process for the production of an Ag metallo-organic material giving a glossy film having a uniform thickness and low and stable sheet resistance.

This production process comprises the 1st step to weigh an organic Ag compound under light-shielded condition, dissolve the compound in a dissolution liquid and filter the solution to remove the insoluble materials, the 2nd step to weigh and mix another organic metal, a resin and a solvent, dissolve the mixture in a dissolution liquid, remove the insoluble materials by filtration and remove the solvent in the filtrate and the volatile component in the resin at 40-65°C to obtain a paste and the 3rd step to mix the filtrate produced by the 1st step with the paste produced by the 2nd step and remove the dissolution liquid at 40-45°C.
