Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce sinter cake at a high production rate and high yield by improving the air passability of a calcination process in the process for production of the sintered body.
CONSTITUTION: Sintering raw materials are charged into the pallet of a sintering machine while powder coke 5 of about ≥1mm grain size is continuously or intermittently fed from the feeding ports of plural hoppers 12 installed at specified intervals in the transverse direction of the pallet above the top end of a chute 9 or above the bottom end of the chute 9 at the time of charging the raw materials into the above-mentioned pallet and thereafter, the calcination is executed.
