Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of the defective pipe of a small-diameter stainless steel tube to be used for production of an injection needle, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The variation in the thickness in the longitudinal direction of the sheet line part of a stainless steel sheet limited, by weight %, to 0.5 to 1.0 Si, 1.2 to 2.0% Mn and 50 to 100ppm S is suppressed within 5μm. As a result, the cause for the welding defect is elucidated and the quality and productivity are improved.
