Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title solution in a shortened time with easy temperature up of the reaction mixture by radiating a mixture of a lignocellulosic material and a solvent containing a phenol compound with microwaves. CONSTITUTION:The subject solution is obtained by irradiating a mixture of (A) a lignocellulosic material and (B) at least one of solvents selected from phenolic compounds (e. g. phenol, cresol or the like) and aliphatic or alicyclic polyhydric alcohols (e.g. ethylene glycol, cyclopentane-1,2-diol or the like) with microwaves.
