Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the product in which the excellent appearance of the non- plated surface and good chemical conversion treatability are assured in this process for production using an acidic bath by adding a specific amount of an adsorptive film forming type org. inhibitor to a pretreating liquid, etc., for steel sheets and lightly grinding the non-plated surface after plating. CONSTITUTION:The adsorptive film forming type org. inhibitor is added at >=1ppm to any of a pickling soln. for pretreating the steel sheet prior to plating or a washing liquid after the pickling or a plating liquid in the production of the steel sheet electroplated on one side by using the acidic bath. The plating is otherwise executed by adding the above-mentioned inhibitor at >=0.1ppm each to both of the above-mentioned pickling soln. or the washing liquid and the plating liquid. The non-plated surfaces are lightly ground with brushes after the plating. The steel sheet which is electroplated on one side and has the excellent appearance of the non-plated surface and the excellent chemical conversion treatability is obtd. without exerting adverse influence on the plated surface by this method.
