Title:
PRODUCTION OF SUGAR-COATED SOLID PREPARATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0390020
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title preparation improved in workability and capable of keeping excellent disintegrating property and appearance for long period by applying a suspension obtained by blending maltitol with a sugar-coated disintegration and suspension base at a specific amount onto the surface of a core agent when a sugar-coated layer is formed on the surface of core agent.

CONSTITUTION: A suspension containing (A) maltitol, preferably having ≥80wt.% purity, (B) sugar-coated disintegration, preferably silicon dioxide and (C) suspension base at amounts of 0.54-1.23 pts. wt. based on 1 pts.wt. water in the suspension and each containing the ingredient B and the ingredient C at ratios of 0.0001-0.1 pts.wt. and 1.5-3.0 pts.wt. based on 1 pts.wt. ingredient A is applied onto the surface of core agent, preferably under heated temperature of 30-80°C in ordinary pressure to form sugar-coated layer on the surface of core agent. Thereby workability of coating is improved in comparison with a conventional method using maltitol and extremely stable sugar-coated solid preparation capable of keeping excellent disintegrating property and appearance having immediately after production for long period is obtained.
