PURPOSE: To provide an HVC process capable of providing a high temperature superconducting mixed ceramic film requiring no after treatment and having properties required at the time of spraying.
CONSTITUTION: The superconducting mixed ceramic thin film can be produced by holding a substrate having a superconducting film in a coating at 700-850°C until the film is solidified, performing cooling for the above coating and the resultant film in a gaseous atmosphere having at least 50vol.% oxygen (O2) content at 0.05-0.5 bar excess pressure, and also maintaining ≤5°C/min cooling rate at a temp. at least higher than 400°C, at the time of producing a superconducting mixed ceramics, e.g. a superconducting mixed ceramics of Y1Ba2Cu3Ox having at least 6.7 oxygen content (x) by an HVC process.
