Abstract:
To easily produce a thermoforming composite resin material excellent in dimensional stability and mechanical physical properties.
A resin compsn. prepared by mixing a liquid crystal resin 12 with a thermoplastic resin 11 is extruded from a strand die at temp. equal to or higher than the liquid crystal transition temp. of the liquid crystal resin 12 to form a strand. The resin compsn. is subjected not only to stretch deformation but also to twist deformation when extruded from the strand die. This deformed resin compsn. is cooled to the liquid crystal transition temp. or lower.
