Abstract:
To provide a method for producing trioxan from an aqueous solution of formaldehyde in a high yield.
When producing trioxan from an aqueous solution of formaldehyde in the presence of gallium silicate as a catalyst, in the method of this invention, a gallium silicate is use as a catalyst in a molar ratio (Si/Ga) of 5-50.
