Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain tubular synthetic resin films at a high speed and stably according to blown-film extrustion, by cooling a molten synthetic resin tube, using a cooling ring, a wind uniforming cylinder, and a degassing chamber.

CONSTITUTION: A molten synthetic resin tube is extruded continuously from a ring orifice, passed from the cooling ring 3 through the wind uniforming cylinder 4 to the degassing chamber 9 (to be cooled) taken off while being and held by the nip rolls 10. Cooling gas is made to flow from the cooling ring 3, and the cooling gas is controlled by the wind uniforming cylinder 4 so that fluctuation of the molten tube is prevented to give a uniform film. The cooling gas used is removed from the degassing chamber 9.

EFFECT: Stable cooling can provide a film free of uneven thickness at a high speed of 100 m/nim. or more.
