Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a high magnetic flux density unidirectional silicon steel sheet in which the Goss orientation is high developed, at the time of producing a unidirectional silicon steel with the compositional components and producing process specified, by incorporating a specified amt. of Bi into the components and executing tandem cold rolling in the stage of cold rolling.
CONSTITUTION: Stock essentially consisting of, by weight, 0.03 to 0.15% C, 2.5 to 4.0% Si, 0.02 to 0.30% Mn, 0.005 to 0.040% S, 0.010 to 0.065% acid soluble Al and 0.0030 to 0.0150% N, and the balance substantial Fe with inevitable impurities is subjected to casting and hot rolling, is if required, subjected to high temp. annealing and cooling before final cold rolling, is subjected to cold rolling at 65 to 95% for one time including final forced cooling or for ≥two times including process annealing and is subjected to decarburizing annealing, coating of a separation agent for annealing and final finish annealing. At this time, the compositional components of the stock are incorporated with 0.0005 to 0.05% Bi, and tandem cold rolling is executed in the stage of the cold rolling, by which the high magnetic flux density unidirectional silicon steel sheet in which the Goss orientation is high developed can be obtd.
