Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of easily and stably manufacturing an ultrafine long fiber nonwoven fabric from a division-type conjugate fiber.
CONSTITUTION: A two-component conjugate fiber of division-type is obtained from a fiber forming polyester A and a fiber forming polyamide B by conjugate melt spinning. The obtained undrawn fiber is drawn to 1.0-1.2 times of natural drawing ratio(NDR) at the first drawing and successively subjected to the second drawing to the total drawing ratio of 1.3-1.6 times of NDR to obtain a division long fiber. The division long fiber is subjected to opening and collected by an air sucker on a collector surface.
