Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the title resin which gives a molding resistant to water and impact and free from surface bleeding.
CONSTITUTION: The resin is produced by reacting 100 pts.wt. urea with at least 30 pts.wt. polyethylene glycol diglycidyl compd. having a bisphenol A backbone in the presence of hexamethylenetetramine in an amt. of 5-50wt.% of the diglycidyl compd. in water and reacting the resulting product with formaldehyde.
