Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the use of a high cost forming die, to make the valve seat compact and reduce the weight of a valve itself by fixing a valve seat body with subjecting a groove wall to plastic deformation, after the valve seat body is inserted in a groove, by means of use of thermal contraction of a resin elastic valve seat body having a trapezoid at cross section.
SOLUTION: A valve seat inserting groove 2 consisting of an outer peripheral side face part 1a of one end of a metal cylindrical valve main body 1, an erecting face 2a of outer peripheral side inside this, an inclined face approaching toward outer periphery at bottom side and an erecting face 2b of inner peripheral side having a vertical face parallel to a center axis, is arranged. Further, a valve seat body 3 is of a trapezoid at cross section and an annular resin elastic body, in which an outer diameter side inclined face 3a is fitted to a dimension of an inclined face 2a of the groove 2 of valve seat main body 1 and which has a dimension fitted into the groove 2 with contracting at cooling. The valve seat body 3 is cooled, inserted into the groove 2 and then returned to normal temp. Next, by bending over an inner side erecting cylinder part 3 of the groove 2 upward, the valve seat body 3 is fixed in the groove 2 along an inner diameter side inclined face 3b of the valve seat body 3.
