PURPOSE: To obtain the title fabric excellent in durability with water droplets ready to roll by subjecting to emery raising and dyeing a fabric made from multi-fineness-synthetic combined filament bulky textured yarns with the surface outer layer formed with the finer false-twist textured yarn, followed by imparting the resultant fabric with a fluorine-based water repellent.
CONSTITUTION: Using synthetic filament yarns of both larger denier and smaller denier raw yarns, the latter raw yarn is put to false-twist texturing followed by arranging the former raw yarn parallel. The resultant system is then put to air jet false-twist texturing at an overfeed ratio of ≥1.01 of the smaller denier false-twisted yarn to 1 of the said larger denier raw yarn to produce a multi-fineness-combined filament bulky textured yarn with the surface outer layer formed with the smaller denier yarn. A fabric formed by weaving using said bulky textured yarn as one or both of weft and warp is then put to emery raising followed by dyeing and then application of a fluorine-based water repellent.
