PURPOSE: To make intervals between respective plates uniform, by weighing plates, which are obtained by forming rolled Mo plates of an X-ray detector into a prescribed shape by the puching work, and divding them to plural lots in accordance with weight and using plates in the same lot to assemble one detector.
CONSTITUTION: Prescribed-shape Mo plates are punched from a rolled Mo member, and Mo plates are divided to three lots A, B, and C by a unit of 0.10g when the weight of each plate ranges from 10.15g by about ±0.15g, and plates are subjected to the finishing work and the washing treatment in every lot. X-ray shielding plates 1 and Mo shielding plates 2 with electrodes where copper foil electrodes are stuck to both faces are obtained from Mo plates in the same lot, and these plates 1 and 2 are arranged alternately in parallel, and end faces facing to each other respectively are fixed by holders 3a and 3b, thereby producing an x-ray detector for a tomograph. The thickness of Mo plates is not measured with a high precision but the weight of them is measured to make the thickness of plates uniform easily, and consequently, the detector where intervals between respective plates are uniform is produced, and the detector has a high resolving power.
