Abstract:
To provide a new prognosis improving agent for cardiac insufficiency, which is safe to human body and exhibits remarkable effect.
An imidazole dipeptide and/or its salt is used as an active component for improving the prognosis of cardiac insufficiency. The imidazole dipeptide of the active component is preferably at least one kind of substance selected from the group consisting of anserine, carnosine and valenine. The imidazole dipeptide and/or its salt is preferably extracted from at least one kind of material selected from the group consisting of fish meat, poultry meat and livestock meat.
