Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating a drop-out color dynamically based on the color image of a business form, and to provide a processor for conducting a drop-out processing using the method.
SOLUTION: This drop-out processor 100 acquires the image of the business form 2 (101), divides the image into respective planes of RGB (103), computes a histogram for every plane (105), calculates a threshold automatically based on the histogram (106), and selects a drop-out (DO) plane (107). The processor binalizes the selected DO plane (108), generates a brightness signal based on the image of the business form 2 (109), and binalizes it (110). The DO plane and the binalized image of the brightness signal are composition-processed (111), and blurring is processed to be corrected (112), and a composed image 3 is output thereafter.
